Larrivée OOO-50 Total Sunburst for sale.  I am the original owner.  It is extremely clean, however I have spent many hours playing it so it has really opened up nicely.  Staff at the Podium had not seen one this detailed and clean, the tone is well balanced from bass through the shimmering highs.  It has a beautiful voice with the timbre, fundamentals and overtones associated with fine mahogany guitars.  Stellar strummer and fingerstyle player.  Stunning actually.  Unique for Larrivée in that the neck and headstock are gloss finish. This guitar will hold its own against any quality guitar out there, vintage or other wise.  Current retail $4563.00.  $2100.00 plus shipping

The dealer I purchased it from stated that the instrument was built for a show and the tone woods are top-notch even for Larrivée.  Jean Larrivée, of course, paints each sunburst.

I'm slow tonight.  Are you selling the guitar yourself or are you consigning it at the podium, wherever that is?

Is the $4500 price the asking price?  If not, what is your price?
Play it daily for best results.

Couldn't find it in 000's/000 non-cutaway or used.
The Dude abides.

I couldn't find it at The Podium either. Do they sell used guitars at full retail? How many of you out there buy guitars at full retail?

The Podium listing was incorrect, it has a bone nut and saddle and has a gloss finish neck.

That 000-50 is a real beauty.  I wonder why the Podium has audio samples for only some of the instruments on their website.  Does anyone have any idea why that is?

They get to them when they can, but almost always get them all.

Really a beauty,  and sounds great -

Tad
Bunch of Larrivees - all good -
and a wife that still puts up with me, which is the best -

just a note

The typical ooo size guitars I've considered have a lower bout around 15 inches  and a depth of 4 inches

The Larrivee OOO is larger and thicker than average in my experience.

Here are the specs from the podium
Specifications:
Lower Bout: 15.375"
Upper Bout: 11.125"
Waist: 9.375"
Depth: 4.5"

You many prefer this larger size - just wanted to mention it - because I know some guys here have shoulder pain problems
( including myself ) that can be aggravated by a thicker guitar.

I had to take the Larrivee OOO models off my list because a max depth of 4 inches works best for me
and I prefer to keep the lower bout 15 inch or less.

BTW,  The Podium is a great place to do business - I bought my former Huss & Dalton OO-SP from them  :thumb

I've had shoulder issues in the past with my Martin D35.   I sold it and went with the Larrivee 000-50 and no shoulder problems.  The 000-50 is a superb guitar!   Compared to the Martin I find it very "couchable" and IMHO as loud and with much more articulation. :nice guitar:

This is an exceptional OOO-50.  Played it today.
