I'm selling my 2003 Larrivee L03 (located in Canada) which I purchased new. It's in great shape and includes a dealer-installed K&K Pure Western pickup. $750 US plus shipping.

Dadeedo: I'm not really interested in a trade - but of course it would depend on what you have to offer.

Lawdog: I'm in St. John's, Newfoundland

Is this a mahogany or sapelle guitar?
2001 McIlroy A30 #75, Spruce/Rosewood
Martin OM-15M, all mahogany
Paddy Burgin Bouzouki, Redwood over Claro Walnut
Keith Newell mandolin, Spruce over Claro Walnut
1916 Gibson A mandolin
1927 Langestyle tenor banjo

How worn are the frets, and how much saddle is there?

Frets are in great shape (I generally play in different positions - as opposed to sticking to "cowboy chords" in the 1st position).

When I first received the guitar (brand new from the factory), I was concerned about how little saddle was left under the high E and B strings and approached Larrivee about it. They explained that's the way Larrivee's are and the requirement for an eventual neck set to adjust angle/action would be a remote occurrence. After over four years with the guitar, with the same fairly low action, no adjustments have been necessary. Granted, there is sufficient saddle to lower the action further if preferred.

At the time, I looked at many Larrivee's on-line and this degree of saddle clearance was common. To me it's a non-issue. I can provide pics of saddle/frets if requested.

It would be great if you'd post those extra pics.

This is the best shot I could get of the saddle. This is w/o shim (I use a very thin shim to bring the action up a bit - to 4/64 on high E at 12th fret).

I'm still trying to get a decent shot of frets but pics are either glared or fuzzy......I'm still trying so stay "tuned".

if this is still around,, I am interested--let's talk, and work this out---818-395-3665--Gary

Is your L-03 still available?  I'm also in NL and would be interested in checking it out.
