Thanks, kind've what I was going for (even though I live in the north east, and that window looks out over a river, a bay, and Long Island sound in the distance).  It's sort've what it feels like when I play it.

Looks very good :thumb Those tuners are a nice touch. Wish I knew how to take good Pics like that, oh well.  :guitar   Danny

Lovely pic; :thumb good lighting...I like the florentine a lot...lots of room for your hand, even though you have to watch that "point" on the back...bit delicate!
Cheers, Chris

Wow, that is a beautiful guitar!

I've always wanted a florentine, but I couldn't find one back in '05 had to settle for the Venetian. Perhaps, I'll track one down someday....

2013 Larrivée  D-40
2016 Larrivée UC-40 Koa
2020 Larrivée US-40 X-Rosewood

Thanks.  I just set up a tripod and took multiple shots at different combinations of f stops and shutter speeds at 200 and 400 ISO and chose the ones with the warmest color.

I also prefer the Florentine cutaway.  Either that or the L models.  The Venetian just doesn't seem to have as much visual personality to me (though I still wouldn't refuse one :nana_guitar).

(. . .hmm. . . never noticed the 2 knobs on the cabinet give the whole thing a bit of a "Jar Jar Binks" vibe :?) I need to have a :donut2 and a :coffee and think about that a bit.

Great use of natural light! And of course,  :nice guitar:
Lots of acoustics and One Happy Dog

Very nice guitar, I used to have a lefty C-05 that was a real sweetheart.

P.S. I like the chip carving on the cabinets, is that something you did? I've done quite a bit of chipping.

:nice guitar:   I like the combination of rht the shades of woods from the cabinet and the guitar...  Sharp!
06' Larrivee LV-03E
89' Fender Strat Custom Shop
85' Zion Electric
Carvin all tube vintage amps
And a lot of other junk!

Thanks everybody.  I was glad I could still catch things when I did.

The chip carving came with the pantry.  I used to do carving and chip carving, but haven't been able to find my tools since having work done on the apartment.  Hoping I just misplaced them as opposed to having them "lifted."

Hoping to eventually purchase an old C-05 or a new L-05 in the near future.
