Anyone ever hear of Larrivee Custom Shop?

I was recently checking out a Larrivee LV-10K at a local Guitar Center.  Beautiful guitar - angel headstock inlay, Koa back and sides and a torch/wings presentation style, unbound fretboard.  (BTW, a more detailed description is provided in a thread entitled "Anyone looking for a used LV-10K").  Anyway, while looking in the sound hole for the serial number (which was obscurred by some electronics - assuming there was one), I noticed that the label just under the soundhole said "Custom Shop".  I don't recall ever hearing about them having one.  Does anyone else?

They always used to have one, I believe it is only in the last 4 or 5 years that it has been closed. Every know and then there is talk about it reopening, but I've never heard anything definitive.
