I have an L-09 with I-beam active.

I have a crate V3112 30W tube amp that I use for my electric playing.  The acoustic sounds ok through it, with some eq.

If i were to try to get better acoustic sound, would it be recommended to purchase an acoustic guitar amp or should I maybe try a Para DI with my electric amp?

I've got a line on a "fender acoustasonic 30 DSP" from craigslist... thinking about it.

Your acoustic will never sound as good though an electric guitar amp as it will through an amp built for acoustics.

Of couse, if you need volume over true acoustic sound, the above statement may be moot.  Take your amp to a local store and compare for yourself.

Hi James. I have an L05 with the same pick up. I play it through my Libe 6 Flextone 3 normally though not very often. However a friend has a Freshman David made by Scechter I think. Its a brilliant bit of kit. My friend plays his L09 fitted with the I Beam active with the Elementand that sounds excellent too. Its an 80 watt affair but there is a more powerful version. Best wishes John
