Larrivee LSV-30 Nylon String

Regretfully, financial needs have forced me to list my LSV-30.  It is great nylon string; perfect for Jazz or Latin music and I hate to sell it.  It is about a year old and pristine, except for one smal surfacel ding on the rosewood on the lower bout.  (bumped my music stand   :<>)   The action and tone are typical Larrivee.  Great balance and volume and excellent string separation.  Slight radius on the fretboard makes it very easy to play barre chords and the long scale length is far more comfortable to play than might be suspected.  Asking $1600.

These are really great guitars.  I think the Larrivee classicals are the nicest out there.  I have had the LS30 and the 75 Classical I just sold to a fellow member, and Larrivee really knows how to make a classical guitar that sings!

Good luck on the sale...someone will really enjoy this.  These are real hard to find in stock, but I have never played one that disappointed me.

I would love to pick this up for myself as a second or backup to my Larrivee C-30. I have other financial priorities right now. I can't say enough great things about Larrivee classicals. They have a very sweet, shimmering tone with lots of colors and textures.  Everyone that I have ever played, including the discontinued satin models have all been fabulous. I used to own a Taylor NS64ce and have played several of their nylon offerings. There is no comparison. Larrivee makes one  Anyone looking for a true classical w/crossover appeal will go absolutely  for this guitar.

What is the neck width?

2" or 1 13/16" I have a Larrive product guide that suggest the nut width is 1 & 13/16".

It has been a long time since I had a chance to reply to inquiries or comment here.   Busy time of year.   Unclerob has the guitar and, as of yesterdy, pictures have been taken.  Hopefully unclerob will have them available for those who want to see it.  Dont hesistate to call him for a description.

not sure if the above "nevermind" was due to the mark on the lower bout, but let me assure all that it is just surface and not into the wood.   Also on the reverse side is a piece of Flamenco style tap plate that I put on my guitars to protect the back from scratches, especially in the upper bout area where they come into contact with your shirt when playing in classical position.

This guitar is an excellent example of the Larrivee sound and clarity.
