Hi all!

Just joined today and posted in general section. There's a phot treat awaiting there, per apparent custom.
I need to move some things out so I can move some things in (old story, no?)

Here's a couple of  pics of the Uke in question. It's in perfect shape, bought NOS in 2003, and it's part of the hard to find original run of these. Since it's a Larrivee, I thought what better place to post it, although I've got it on Jim Beloff's uke pages as well.

I'm asking $475.00 based on my current market research and prices on the new ones. It's an instrument, not a toy, and is between than the soprano and concert sizes. I love it, but got to clear out some stuff for a custom.

If my price is out of line and you're seriously interested or just trying to steer me straight, pleases let me know.

Thanks for looking! Mark.

Hi,
That's a nice looking instrument.
I'm looking to replace my old Harmony ukulele.
Is this the same Larrivee that was listed on Ebay last week?

Hi dg, and thanks for your interest.

This instrument has never been for sale since I've owned it, until now. It was not listed in ebay. It is a really good sounding an playing uke, and is made at the highest standards. I'll regret giving it up, thinking I'll never find another. The deal with this one is that it is made exactly like the really high dollar ones, but without all the bling and glitter of the binding, shell etc. I like instruments that are understated in their looks but excellent in tone and fit, and this is one of them. The mahogany is beautiful, solid throughout and gives a great woody resonant character to the sound.

If you're interested I have more pictures to post, and can take ones of a specific part of the instrument you might be interested in. I'll venture that this will be the best sounding uke at most gatherings , unless of course Jake S. shows up... :)

Regards, Mark.
