For Sale...Beautiful Larrivee OM-03PA Pete Anderson signature model.  Won an editors choice award in 1999 when they first came out. This guitar originally sold for $2195,  is no longer made and is quickly becoming a collectors item. The guitar is in excellent condition with no nicks, scratches, or dings. I am the third owner. It first went to Jerry Haskew, famous folk player and onetime owner of Guild guitar company. It was then purchased by Doug Jones aka "Little Brother". I purchased it from Doug about 8 months ago. Nice flamed maple, beautiful sunburst and virtually no play wear. No pick-up holes drilled into this blues beast. Will ship with mint hardshell case. The Pete has a rich barking tone with plenty of volume, excellent for blues, ragtime, or any rootsy music. The midrange is to die for and will knock your socks off. Many Petes had a 1 11/16 nut but this was part of a very limited run made with a 1 3/4 nut. The pics are 8 months old taken by Little Brother and used with his permission. The guitar is in virtually the exact same condition though as I have treated it with  tender loving care. They very infrequently pop up on E-bay and go for from 1000-1300. The 1 3/4 nut though is very rare. I'm letting it go for $950 plus shipping. I hate to sell it but my heart is set on another and I need to raise funds. These are getting hard to find and someone is going to get a blues monster for a great price. I'll leave it up for sale here on the forums for a week or two then off to E-bay. Prefer postal M.O. or cashiers check. Will go PayPal but add $50. Contact me at mike103898 at aol.com  Additional specs below. Will ship USPS.

38.75 Total length
15.25 lower bout
9.5 waist
11.5 upper bout
4 1/8 Body depth at butt end
25.5 Scale
1 3/4 nut
2 3/16 Saddle spacing

Wow!  :SHK>

These are really rare... very cool guitars.  I wish I had the funds to buy it.  Larrivee's, in general, aren't real collector's pieces.. but this guitar probably has the most potential in becoming a rare collector's item.

anyhow, g'luck on the sale.  (which shouldn't take too long)

Me theenks this is gonna roll fast. Too nice, too hard to find, and too well priced. I paid more for mine about two years ago and Dog's is minty mint; mmmm good. Just looked at mine sittin' there yesterday and started 'kvelling'. Yiddish for 'proud'. Just love that guitar. Punchy, loud, clean, and fun! I put some ebony tuners and bride pins mine with some black diamond black string, to black her out per LB's suggestions. I'm tempted to get another but that's insane. Heck of a deal I think here. Nice one Dogman!

The sale is still pending..... if funds are not received by early next week it will go back on the block and I will contact you all. As of now a potential buyer and I have a tentative agreement which I will honor until he proves otherwise. I do appreciate all the interest though. Whoever ends up with it will be getting a guitar with tons of mojo.

If I could only have one guitar, Pete would be it! I paid slightly more than that for mine, so someone is getting a great deal!

The Pete has now been sold. I appreciate the interest so many of you other guys have shown but I was obligated to sell it to the first person that gave me a firm commitment.

Congrats to the new owner. He should be a veryy happy camper. : :nanadancenana_guitar

No Deb I didn't sell mine. I have a 1 1/16ths and it is my favorite. Though the Eastman 810CE is getting a lot of playing time too.  I was interested in getting the 1 3/4". Particularly since it was LB's old Pete.
