Okay, this is going to sound like dumb question, but I have a Levy's leather strap that has one fat end and one thin end, I'm going to install a strap button on the neck (my Larrivee OM-02 doesn't have one currently) and I don't know which end (fat or thin) is meant to attach to the endpin and which attaches to the strap button on the neck?!  Not that it really matters...but any suggestions??

seandmc,

fat end lower bout... I bought one from a forum member and it came with what is basically a shoe string looped  through the hole on the thin end to tie it around the headstock just above the nut, thus omitting the unsightly pin in the neck... Maybe some think thats old school or it doesn't look cool with the strap to the headstock...that's individual opinion. I like it that way, and I'm as cool as can be :GRN>

Actually, I've got the fat end attached above the nut and the skinny end attached to the end pin.  Works fine for me, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I attach mine at the heel so you can see the big LARRIVEE letters! :)

Fat end at the neck heel for me. I like having the wide leather part of the strap going over my left shoulder.

+1 for the fat side on the heel.

This is the same for me on all guitar straps that I have that have fat/thin straps.  I want comfort.
