considering a D40R custom

I have been thinking about a D40R with a 1 3/4" nut and moon spruce top. I saw the upcharge price for a "custom nut width" on the Larrivee website, but I have also heard that they don't charge for a 1 3/4" nut on 40 Series. Has anyone had experience with this?

It wouldn't likely be a charge. You'd just have to have it custom made. The best thing to do is ask a Larrivee dealer for a quote.
