Here’s an example of a guy who spent a lot of time living on the edge and made it to age 97.

I’ll share this link with my 3 grandsons ages 9, 7 and 6 who are bonafide Star Wars freaks. Chuck Yeager’s reality of breaking the sound barrier beat George Lucas’ imagination creating the Millennium Falcon’s hyper-drive by three decades.

Years ago i was on a short flight from Palm springs to L.A. and I noticed the gray haired gentleman a few seats ahead of me was getting much attention from the crew including the captain who came out of the cockpit to shake his hand and talk to him for a minute.  I thought I heard the captain ask him if he'd like to come into the cockpit and take the wheel.   It wasn't until we landed that I realized who it was.  Mr. Yeager.   So since then I have more than once casually mentioned that I flew with Chuck Yeager

Chuck Yeager, one of a kind and great American.  They broke the mold after him, RIP.
