Is anyone a Nathan Salsburg fan? He is fingerstyle, but a bit unusual. Doesn’t conjure the typical American Primitive sounds, though I think he is basically part of the genre. I am pretty practiced at figuring out fingerstyle songs, but his are very hard because of timing and so forth. He is from Louisville and happens to be a music archivist too.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNIpnL204f4

Thanks. I wasn’t familiar with this artist.
To me, he fits squarely within what I think of as American Primitive Fingerstyle.
(But that’s just me.)

He's a decent player. Have to say I got a little bored with the first tune by a few minutes in.  <shrug>
