Agreed the 30th Anni along with the 72's are probably the rarest of Larrivee's but even still I can't recall seeing one go north of 3.  And having said that I wouldn't part with mine for twice that!

Looks like there is a mint condition D09 Brazilian on Ebay for $3K or best offer.  That's a pretty fair deal for an awesome guitar.

I got one for a thousand less not that long ago, and have seen others go for around $2,200. I think they're WORTH $3k. But, can be had for much less and at around $2,200 are an incredible guitar for the money. I liked my old D03r but the D09 in braz (from the same year) is just in another class entirely.

You done good Bowie!  I got my D10 for a great price too, and wouldn't sell it for anything.  Mind is the special run Jean made for Guitar Center in 1998. I really haven't played anything that sounds nicer to my ears.
