As you all know I'm user idiot.I find myself needing a camera and have no idea what to get, hoping someone here can help me.

Issue I have are I have developed a bad case of the shake's so I would need a camera that has some sort of control for this.As I have said I'm user idiot so it must be simple to use, like uploading and sizing.

Any help anyone can offer would be great. :wave

Rob, what are you going to do with the camera?
That will help determine what to get.
There's some ant-shake features on most cameras today.
Also a tripod might be a good option depending on what you're doing.
Primarily still shot or video?

I have been talked into build a few partcasters by a client and his band mate wanting matching tele type's.The bass player may want a tele type bass or two.Thought it might be cool to have some pix of them.I don't have any pix of the 30 or so that I have already built.

OK, lots to choose from, then.
Decide on your budget.
For simplicity sake, probably a point-and-shoot if you're feeling technically challenged.
Learn to turn the flash off & on.
I don't like flash burns on images of glossy finish guitars. TURN THAT OFF!
Consider a tripod to keep everything steady. Perhaps a remote shutter release, too for the same reason.
Sony, Canon, Nikon all make really nice simple P&S pocket sized cameras.
Cell phones optics are pretty good on later models. Easy to use.

Thanks bud this helps a lot.

So you know the first one's up{as soon as I see the money}will be 2 black with white binding, gold hardware, ebony boards that I'll need to put block inlays in and a slab bass{tele type} version with white binding with a jazz bass neck, ebony finger board with the block inlays. Then there will be two more each details haven't been settled yet and at least one more bass.I'll be helped by a friend as his hands are more steady then mine.

As has been said, lots of cameras will do the trick.
Tripods ARE your friend, when choosing one, get something substantial, too many people buy cheap flimsy tripods, get a *sturdy one*.

Two months ago I splurged (less than $600) and got a wonderful Olympus OMD E-Mark 10 II with two lenses.  It is compact and takes wonderful photos.  Not a point and shoot, per se, but in Auto mode does that job.  I am doing more manual stuff.

Check out the GOTM right now.  That shot was taken with the new camera yesterday.

If your budget is less, consider a Powershot Canon or Nikon Coolpix.  Yes, a tripod is good.

Here are two direct links on Imgur of what I snapped recently.  Hit the + on the photo to see it larger.
