staying logged in

Is there any way to stay logged in after you have left the website and/or closed the browser. I always have to log in again and this is the only site I know that requires this.

When you log in there is a check box you can select to stay logged in...  It works.

Thanks georbro3, found it. Problem was however that this box does not appear when you use the loginbox at the top right of the page, only when you click the word login on the top left and a separate window appears. Anyway, solved, thanks!
