Hello everyone,
My uncle Randy has not been active on this forum for several years but he was an admin previously... I am his nephew David and I want to inform everyone that he is not in good health and he has asked me to sell all but 1 of his guitars and has given me links and his account info here as you guys are the best source of information as I catalog and research his guitars and figure out their values. Thank you in advance for your assistance in doing this dreaded task. Any info is much appreciated.

Very sorry to hear that, I remember him well and know he had a number of Larrivees.  Let him know he is in our thoughts and prayers.

I have wondered...   his absence was noticed.

I'm sure there are folks who will be able to step up and help with your task.  Doing some reading of posts in the For Sale section of this site and some searches on Reverb.Com will help with what folks have asked for similar guitars.  The condition will affect pricing as will rarity (materials and special orders and such).  Best of luck.

Any help we can be just ask and we'll do it.Our best to him.

It saddens me greatly to hear that news. Randy was greatly appreciated here on this Forum first for his gentlemanly fair hand and his luv of Larrivee Guitars. I know nobody outside of California with a nicer collection.

My best to your uncle. Hope he feels better. If we can help with your issues, we are here.

Randy is good people.
He showed me the ropes here many years ago when I signed on as an administrator. I'm very sorry to hear that he is struggling with his health now.
I spent more time than I would like to admit pouring over his Larrivee guitar collection on his website.
As you put these guitars up for sale, please post a link to them here for us and you'll likely find a few enthusiastic buyers and many interested Larrivee historians eager to look and learn more about these fine instruments from Randy's remarkable collection.
Thanks for alerting us, David. Kindest regards to you and your Uncle Randy.
We miss him and wish him well.

Sorry for Randy's health. Always enjoyed his posts and looking at guitars. (and bikes!) I am very interested in seeing what's available. I'm in the market for a fine guitar right now as I get ready to record this winter. To boot if still in North Georgia, I'm in your neighborhood living just outside Asheville.  I will send a message via PM with my contact info. Best to Randy and family. matt
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.

I went from 0 to 3 Larrivee's in those mid-late 2000's (still have and play them). I put the blame partly on your Uncle Randy and his web site!  :bgrin: Please give him our best!

Very sorry to hear about your uncle.  Give him my best please.  Seeing his name takes me back to the early days of this forum!
