1974 Guild S-100 "Leaves and Acorns": $750 shipped

Description: 1974 Guild S-100. Offset double cutaway solid mahogany body, with carved acorns. Dual humbuckers with phase switch, 4 volume/tone knobs, chrome hardware, Grover tuners, mahogany through neck, 22 frets, phase selector switch, AdjustoMatic bridge, bound rosewood fingerboard, block inlay, clear pickguard with Guild Stencil, and Chesterfield peghead inlay.  Grover/Guild tuners.

This guitar is in great condition for it's age. It has been played over the past 30 years but not abused too badly.  Beautiful mahogany with wonderful checking in finish. Minimal wear on frets and no visible wear on fretboard.  Electronics are great with no humming/crackling.  This guitar has great vintage tone and sustain.  There are minor dings here and there however it has just been set up and it's ready to rock.

The Guild S-100 was introduced in 1970, with stopbar tailpiece mounted at an angle in 1971, and the phase switch added in 1972. The S-100 was discontinued in 1978 and reintroduced in 1994 and renamed the S-100 Polara in 1997.
