I don't have this guitar anymore, but I always wanted to hear what a rosewood top guitar sounds like. The answer: awesome. It had a really complex tone with lots of overtones. The notes just shimmered. At the same time it was not as loud as the Sitka top, while also being a bit heavier (but not a lot). A lot people where asking for an 00 with a rosewood top next, but I wonder if it might be too quite on a smaller body.

I wonder if the top is thinner than a Spruce top...?

Man that rosewood looks gorgeous!  It's the color of George Harrison's rosewood telecaster that he played during the Get Back movie!

I've always loved the look of walnut topped guitars, which are similar to the look of this rosewood Larrivee. And, probably similar sounding I'd guess. Almost bought one on a few occasions but I tend to end up selling darker sounding guitars so I'm hesitant.
