Post by: Peter74 on April 03, 2022, 05:51:10 PM
Anyone who has a trussrod wrench for older models? I need one for a 1997 J-10

By way of explanation and for clarity.
Two styles

Old Style
(pre-2000, 40000 serial number and lower), then you will likely need the old style tool.

You are right, thanks. 1997 so the old style.

Can anyone confirm the hex size for the new style, is it 4 mm? Stew Mac makes a nice one with a handle that's cheaper than the Larrivee one on their site.

Thanks,

Jeff

Yes. I can confirm this now.

The tool that came with my old parlor (nov 99) s/n 337xx, looks just like that one and is 4mm.  Just FWIW...

And, that "old style" wrench pictured isn't on the Larrivee site.  Not saying it wasn't made, just that it isn't listed on the site.

Thanks for confirming the 4mm size folks.
