An apprentice of Jean Larrivee's in the '70's - you can see the influence of Jean's design in this "SSS" (Standard Steel String) model, and the tone is incredible - rich, deep, articulate. Of course, the playing by Carl Miner is inspired and inspiring as always.

He lives about 15 min from me. A buddy of mine went through his building course twice. His son-in-law, his daughter, the whole family are making guitars it would seem.

Thanks for adding that link. Looks like his instruments run in the $8,000-$10,000 range, depending on options (although it's hard to tell from his website, where I couldn't find a base price - only that a 20% deposit is required to get on his one year waiting list...
