Title: Seeking 2010 catalog
Post by: Adam Ag 98 on April 11, 2020, 08:09:26 PM
Does anyone have a PDF/digital 2010 Larrivee catalog?

My L03-RE was born b/w April and June of 2010 (I've received different dates from Larrivee).

When I look at the specs from different years I've noticed a change. For example, my 2010 has microdot fret markers but those changed at some point. I'm fairly certain the bridge/nut are plastic but now they are bone.

I know it is sitka and rosewood, maple binding, etc.

Likewise - I assume the measurements from then would be identical to an L03 today?

One of the reasons that the specs may not seem to match is that Larrivee (like many companies) builds guitars in batches, and they used to give a guitar a serial number when the neck block was stamped with the number, at the time the guitar's build was starting. But a guitar (or batch of guitars, like guitar bodies) could sit for months (or even a year) before being attached to a neck and finished, making it possible for specs to change before that particular batch was finished and sent to a shop.

I suspect your saddle (bridge) and nut are something like TUSQ - I don't believe Larrivee has EVER used plastic nuts or saddles on any series of their instruments.
