Does Larrivee make them anymore?I am looking for a d05 but just read on Epinions about a d04.
All the Larrivee dealers around my city ( Los Angeles CA.)only carry the d03 and do3r.Anyone know where i can get one?

The only 2 dealers that regularly had -04s were 12thFret (Toronto) and Buffalo Brothers (San Diego).

Check their web pages

Hi Davey,

D04s are custom guitars that were/are done for certain dealers. I believe the 12th Fret has offered them for sale in the past.

04s are 03 appointed guitars with either gloss tops/satin finished sides and backs or all gloss finished bodies depending on when they were made. If you're really hot to have an D04, you'll probably have to wait for a used one to show up.

FWIW, if you're patient you can probably get a used D05 for not a lot more than a D03 will cost you new...

I've seen two new ones at Long & McQuade in Toronto in the past month -- one in the North York store and one downtown.

(Yes, I do cruise guitar stores just for fun.  And what's so wrong with that???) ^_^
