New saddle...beating a dead horse?

I agree JW.   Chose the strings first.  Then set-up around those.  Just the way I do it.  D'ad 16's are always the choice for me.

D'ad 16s have become my choice as well - especially with mahogany.

you guys are funny  ^_^

strange sometimes how things work.  When i replaced the tusq with bone on my old L09 it changed it very much.  I actually liked the tusq better as it really mellowed out the sound compared to the peircing bone sound.  This is the only guitar I have ever had that liked the tusq better.   Just sounded deeper and rounder with it.  My other guitars have been the opposite.

I'll let you guys know within the week. :)  Just waiting for my tuners before I do it.  I also will have sound samples for you to show the difference.
