I'm about two months into learning to play and have gottin real put off with the sounds coming from the third hand Samick that was given to me. Just made a deal and waiting for delivery (Monday) of a 2003 OM-03BW. I CAN'T WAIT for the Fedex truck :GRN>. I took off Monday and I may take Tuesday as well to play. So the question is...Is that a quality upgrade  . I know stupid question. Damm life is good.

Well, it might not be, but my boss is cool. It's great to be self-employed. :WNK>

Now you have what the pros have, in many cases the OM3BW is a better guitar, get to playing ;).

That's great. Too many people get put off by poor guitars. Let us know what you think when it arrives.

As soon as you have it in your hands and play a few chords, you'll know what the rest of us here know; you're in a whole new world! I think you'll be astounded by the tone of your OM! Congrats!

It all depends on how you will be using your guitar.  If you will be playing music, it is a serious upgrade, if you use your guitar as a canoe paddle and spare garden shovel, then you should try to get your Samick back!
