That doesn't prove anything. There's a disclaimer right up front that makes this clear. You can't slam an entire company just because they have a couple of wackos on their payroll. Hewlett Packard is on that list, fer cryin' out loud.

I heard that Taylor Guitar employees are told not to talk while building guitars in order to adhere to the Scientology principle of "guiet birthing."

I think Bob Taylor saved Martin guitars.  Without competition from Taylor, Martin would still be struggling with an antiquated product line and mired in 'handbuilt' hell.  Taylor pushed other companies like Gibson to adopt new technologies for manufacturing and apply them to guitar making.  Its especially true in wood finishing.

Last I heard, Bob Taylor was a member of the Saddleback Church, where Rick Warren is pastor.  They are not affiliated with Scientology.

There you go again Duck . . . Bashing Taylors.  What's the deal?  Jealous? In love with Mr. Larrivée? Or just plain dumb?

Wake up and smell the roses Duck . . . Men and women don't live by Larrivées alone. A sense of humor is one thing, your constant "worship" of Larrivées and bashing of all others is old and tiresome.  It's time to change your tune, strings and perhaps brand of instrument.

Poor ol Taylor can't get no respect on the LARRIVEE forum. Damn shame all this  bashing on a thread thats supposed to honor a noble competitor. I love my Taylor. The headstock doubles as a cutting board for that real smelly canadian cheese I get at christmas.

Well, Larrivées are discussed quite a bit on the "Taylor" forum and I have yet to see any bashing or negative comments over there about them.  So what's the deal . . . ?  I have a wonderful L-05 that I enjoy.  I have a few other guitars that I enjoy as well.

Having one's head (or bill - quack, quack) so far up a particular guitar manufacturer's butt is pretty sad . . .

I wondered how long it would take to get to this point on this thread. Well, it took about 24 hours.

It's a shame . . . Well I must say that all of my Taylors sound great!  I've added bone saddles and bridgepins to them (along with all the rest) and they not only play great they sound great!  (So does the Larrivée by the way Duck  :WNK>).  See Ya!
