Recording Harmonics

I am trying to do some home recording on my PC.  I have the SONAR 3 Producer Edition.

I need to record some harmonics, but when I listen back to the recording they dont have a "ringing" sound, more of a popping sound. 

I'm recording strickly from the B-Band A2.2 pickups.  No microphones.

Any suggestions?

At the risk of sounding like a smarta$$.

Try a microphone: preferably up near the neck, body joint. The harmonics are relatively "delicate" acoustic power-wise and won't find their way back into a UST so easily (the B-Band is a UST,right?).

No, I think you are right about the microphone, that is why I mentioned it because I was thinking that might be the issue.

I have the A2.2 dual source XOM model.  Picks up from the Saddle and Sound board.
