received this with a guitar i bought used & have since sold. It says McIntyre and seems to be stick-on, has some putty on the underside. Is it worth anything? also, in the second pic is this nut & bolt type object... what is it?? thanks

Hi Bri,

McIntyre is a very well respected name in the pickup world. The McIntyre "Feather" is very popular in Bluegrass circles. It looks as though the pickup you have pictured here is a model designed for classical guitars (thats not to say it wouldn't sound good in a steel string). The picture on the bottom shows the strap button that Larrivee now uses in the pre-drilled jack hole on your guitar.

thanks for the info. would $35 be a a fair price to list it in the buy/sell section? considering it need some soldering work too...
