To everyone on the Larrivee Forum, Greetings from Idaho.

I've been curious to find out if anyone has or has heard a Larrivee Twelve String dred.  For example, a D03R 12 or a D09 12.  Has anyone compared a Larrivee Mahogany Dred 12 with a Larrivee Rosewood dred 12?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I've had a chance to play a few 12 strings...Larrivee's all seem to have nice note sep. and clarity in all body styles, but wood tone will be wood tone
L03BW12, sort of a thicker Koa
LV03/12, very smooth
D05/12, a little bit smoother
D03/12,very clean and crisp
DV09/12,very very round,smooth bass
I hope this help's

I've had an opportunity to compare a J09-12 in maple and an LJ05-12 in mahogany.   Bought the LJ05.    This is a fabulous guitar.   I don't know if they make em' anymore.   IMHO, no one does mahogany better than Larrivee.
