I've lately been twisting my pick about 30 degrees when
playing notes fast.  (just seemed to happen)

So instead of the flat tip of the pick plucking the strings it's
more like the rounded part of the pick tip "bumps" over the
strings.

Am I learning a bad crutch that will have be "excised" out of me
when I start lessons again?  I hate unlearning bad habits  :UND>
