I was just flipping the channels on TV and happen to catch the end of an episode of King of the Hill. It appeared that Hank Hill was playing a Larrivee. He was just strumming a few chords. It had a sweet tone to it.

It looked like he was playing and OOO sized Larrivee with a slotted headstock. Thats about all the info I could gather. Its nice to know Larrivee is getting around.

Ahhh, wishful thinking, my friend, I wish my buddy Hank would play a Larrivée, but according to him it's a  19 sixty something "Guild solid-top".

Yup.

I would have thought they would be promoting a guitar made in the Lone Star State! Is there a Luthier in Arlen, Texas?

I suppose they could settle for a Collings. Or perhaps hank would like to play a Martin, like his good buddy Willie.

Somebody ought to talk to the producers. He needs a Larrivee.

Besides custom builder Jamie Kinscherff, Texas also is home to Mossman Guitars since 1991.

Actually, the picture above is not a good one. Hank's Guild has an asymetrical tail-piece. Can't find another shot of it.

I could see Hank with a Mossman....

I see that Willie's had Trigger repaired.
