I burned the midnight oil again last night and braved recording a song that I'm trying to learn. This one is entitled "The Fisherman" by a guy named Simon Fox. The tab was printed in Fingerstyle Guitar magazine and when I heard it on the accompanying CD I had to give it a try. There's something about the combination of DADGAD with a capo at the 3rd fret that just speaks to me. I don't know it it's a true Celtic song, but it certainly gives me the vibe.

Anyway, it's not too smooth yet, but I think I'm getting there and I wanted to put out an excerpt (before I completely lost my place!) for you guys to hear:
