Anyone here have any experience with the Carvin 100 watt amp w/ effects?  I am also intested in the Genz Benz shanadoah 100 watt amps. If anyone has used them, I would like to know what you think about them.  Thanks

Not sure about the Genz-Benz.....but I do know the Carvin is awesome.  I used to play in an acoustic duo with a guy who has a Carvin acoustic amp.  We used to both run our acoustics through it...and we got a killer sound.  Plenty of volume to keep up with the PA for vocals.  Plus, if your gonna do a solo gig...you can run your vox and guitar into the amp...and one more guitar if someone wants to sit in. Best value out there IMO.  This guy has had this amp for about 7 or 8 years.  He has never had any problems with it.  Never a switch or anything crap out on him.  I know the Genz is a good amp too...but Carvin is the simply the best value.
