Lucky you have me to memorize all the posts for easy reference.
Fraiser, Clint (awarsoca), and Tom (teh) are the ones still waiting.

According to John (message received just a few minutes ago), the remaining three F-VI are late starts, not too far behind, but have not been to paint yet.
So the good news is there are no problems, and the three remaining are still within the "6 month to 1 year" window.
We shall have to entertain Fraiser, Clint and Tom in the meanwhile.

And me! Mine is in St. Paul today, will arrive tomorrow sometime midday!
(Since the weather's not too bad, I may take a peek late tomorrow evening!)
I apologize for not including you, however, my anxiety over particular F-VI's tends to diminish once any particular F-VI is on it's way.
We are really looking forward to you getting your lefty F-VI!

Thanks Mike, as the old saying goes: “all good things come to those who wait.”

I pulled out all of my guitars this weekend and rotated them through the batting order to keep me occupied

Looking forward to everyone getting a safe and speedy delivery.  Do you know if the extra 4 or backups are also in production or would it be a further delay?

You have been very patient, for which I am grateful.
I have no idea "where in the process" the extra guitars are, and BTW, there are three, but I am assuming they are at least along in the process as the lingerers.
None of those guitars will be addressed until all the production orders are shipped and satisfied, so hang in there.

That is kind of what I was figuring all along.  I am in no real hurry and have always been one to prefer delayed gratification when it comes to items like this.  Half of the fun is the wait and the anticipation.  I have liked every I have seen so far and I enjoy being along for the ride.

Yes you will.  I had noticed mine was a late start on one of the inventory sheets posted, at least based on where others were in the process.  I am enjoying seeing the others that arrive and will enjoy mine in due time (c:

John sent me a text earlier today about the extras, and I wasn't sure if to post about them or not, but I have decided to anyway, in the interest of being complete with everything I know.
All three extras have been finished, and are sitting in their cases. Two LSV and one LS. One of the LSV is a "second", meaning it has some flaw, what kind of flaw I don't know firsthand. One forum member has seen pics of them and says the good LSV has a sweet looking back.
All three of the remaining orders are for LSV's, so I am desperately hoping nothing goes wrong with any of them. It would be great to finish all this with no yellow flags.

Great news, thanks for the updates Mike!  Hopefully the weather will be favorable to everyone with their deliveries and no hiccups happen along the way.   It could be a "second" like the first one with the extra fret board markers...  I was hoping for a non cutaway LS myself, and I know I would not be disappointed with a few extra dots on the fret.

FINALLY!

Didn't get delivered until 4:15 (at my office). FedEx's tracking said it would be dropped off between 9:40 am and 1:40 pm - don't know how they determine those time windows, but this time they were off, making me nervous, because we've got a big snow storm predicted for tomorrow.

I'll have to post "reveal" pics later tonight or tomorrow - the box was pretty cold when it got dropped off - dang!

Yea!

I am super impressed by the tone of this guitar.  I am falling in love with Larrivee all over again!  Now I need to decide about a pickguard.  Use what it came with or get a clear one?

Well, it depends on how you play, but you seem to indicate you might need one.
I say, if you need to protect the guitar, just adhere the provided pick guard temporarily with a couple pieces of scotch tape, then play the hell out of it.
That way, you can delay your pick guard decision without delaying your guitar satisfaction.

Happily, mine came without a pickguard.  It's in the case for the future but I'm thinking I will use this guitar for finger style only and thus will not come near it with a pick.  I've played it this way so far and the sound is outstanding.  Like most of my guitars, I leave the OEM strings on for a while to get used to the sound but will likely start trying out some other brands and gauges.  If I ever figure that I need a pick guard I'll put a clear one on.

But, for me, the guitar looks great without the pickguard.

I'm seriously considering removing my pickguard.
