...a Taylor I might finally get sucked into, the new American Dream Series.

I particularly like the Sitka/Ovankol AD17e with it's classic, understated look (pretty much mirroring the Pacific series guitars at about twice the price).

Anyone seen one of these in the wild, or played one?

Has the potential to be a  nice guitar

I loved my Taylor...  until I found my Larrivee parlor.  If Taylor ever comes out with  a 24" scale guitar, I'll be very interested.

The GS Mini is pretty close (23.5" maybe - or is it 22.5"?), and I'm actually pretty impressed with how they sound, IMHO, YMMV, etc.

That guitar caught my attention too. My son has a solid wood 214, a baby Taylor and a solid body electric however...

I have several guitars And each one has its own story and voice but my favorite is my D35
