Any one recognize the maker of Corb Lund's slothead acoustic? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgrmI6eSTtQ
The link to the video shows him playing the guitar in question. I`ve searched high and low on the net to no avail thus far.

Nope seems to have a capo in the way but it's good to see another Corb fan! Here's a video without the capo but it's still hard to see. Maybe a Morgan? Looks to have the letter M.   :beer

Oooops about the capo. Well here's a Corb video courtesy of the CBC what has a good view of the guitar at about 0:55.

Love the Hurtin' Albertans! And the Ford got stuck and the Chev got stuck and the Ford got out when Dodge showed up which eventually freed the Ford ... or something like that.

David uses a different style M in his logo.  Symetric, with an inlaid square (diamond) behind it.

Yup it's not a Morgan unless it predates their distinctive M in a geometric square frame logo design. The headstock end is squared a la Martin style too and all the Morgans I`ve seen are for want of a more accurate description kinda archey/scrolled.

If you look at the bridge the ends feature two different white inlay markings that I bet are family ranch brands..cool idea. If that's true it may indicate a custom boutique maker. I like the overall look been their and back,

A dually diesel pullin hard with a horse trailer in tow
montana side of sweet grass and i'm headed home
trophy buckles and whiskey bottles and a worn out saddle horn
bareback riders and teamropers, huskin taber corn
the roads get better every time i cross north of forty nine
well i tip my hat and it's good to be back across the medicine line
Hurting albertan with nothing more to lose
too much oil money, not enough booze
east of the rockies and west of the rest
do my best to do my damnedest and that's just about all I guess
Them windy b.c. mountain passes finally flatten out
hairpin turns and pst got my heart up in my throat
it's hairy haulin horses up across the great divide
and them wild chilcotin buckaroos, they sure know how to ride
the roads get better every time i cross that british columbia line
i tip my hat and it's good to back across the kickin horse line
Well saskabush is pretty, yup she's pretty flat
and lord knows i'm a prairie boy so I'm pretty used to that
but farmers facin off with gophers, man it ain't the same
as bein home at the saddledome for the oilers at the flames
the roads get better every time i cross that saskatchewan line

That's exactly what those are, and they're ivory his family brought back from Zambia before we all, or most of us, anyway, agreed that might not be the greatest idea.
But those were added in later on, apparently.
(see the video link at 1:00)

Sounds like you've got some insider info or perhaps not. How'd you come upon that tidbit of Corb lore?
