Hi
Just received an OM-40R. I love it, but clearly it needs a new set of strings.  Recommendations please? Thanks a bunch!

Stock strings (currently) are EXP-17s.

If you play with a flatpick, I would stick with EJ-17 or EXP-17.

If you play mostly with bare fingers I would use EXP-16 or EJ-16.   Sunbeams are nice, but they always die too quickly for me.

I am very happy with GHS Silk & Steel lights on mine. Very easy on the fingers.

If you really require string recommendations may I suggest the Acoustic Guitar Forum. There you can get thousands and thousands of recommendations.
