I was thinking about this as I'm trying to "downsize" ... even as I have more guitars in the pipeline (hah)!

Anyway, here's my current acoustic - acoustic/electric stash, and what's coming and going (and otherwise staying):

Larrivee - 4 (one for sale soon)
Martin - 2 (two more on order)
Emerald - 1
Taylor - 1
Takamine - 1 (12-string)
Gibson - 1 (for sale) SOLD 9-16-18
Ovation - 2 (both for sale)
Ibanez - 1 (for sale)
Pimentel - 1 (for sale) SOLD 9-11-18
Fender - 1 (for sale)
Carvin - 1 (for sale)
Cordoba - 1 (Mini R)
Cordoba Ukulele - 1

Just nuts, huh! But the ones that aren't for sale all get played, and a couple more will get used out more regularly once I get pickups installed. One other "want" for down the road might be a maple-bodied acoustic, we'll see...

What's on your list?

yup ...  above  the 49th.
You did not answer the original question, but that is ok. It was too general.
You would not have given a straight answer even if being threatened with a beating.  bigrin crying mad angry yak ohmy

UM, I believe I DID answer the question.
"How many brands" ( subject header?)
um,
 I think I mentioned.
 Larrivee, Godin & Oskar Graf.
um, that's 1,2 and then....THREE!
"straight answer?"
that's just too easy....
Yes, of course.
Way too easy.

Is it your RS4 or that beautiful custom L-05?

I own 2 brands, Norman B-20 and my Larrivee OM-01.

Neither, it will be my C-10. It's just not getting played enough, and I'm finding myself moving away from cutaway models for the most part.

Is that separate brands, or total instruments...?

UPDATE: Sold one today.

The Pimentel classical was on Reverb for less than 24 hours, and someone paid me full price! Maybe I wasn't asking enough, but I sold it for more than I paid for it 24 years ago (yeah, I know; inflation...).

So... maybe....
Your original post should have been renamed and put on the For Sale section?
I mean, I kind of feel like a fool.

4 Different brands for now. In order of appearance in the house: Samick, Martin, Larrivee, and Gibson.

The Larrivee is on the back patio with me this morning, playing a little and reading the Larrivee Forum.

As it is with friends, I don't count.

And as it is with friends over time, there are fewer now than in earlier days.
