Thanks, but I don't think they make the X-10 in a lefty version...

I am reasonably certain Alistair will make a lefty.  Probably an e-mail to them.

After some recalculating. Four. Six Larrivees. Two Yamahas. One Martin. One Washburn. And a partridge in a pear tree.

Happy New Year!

:cheers

Presently one Gibson, one Collings, one Martin and six Larrivees but always a moving target subject to regular change.  Help me!

What you need is another guitar. May I prescribe an LS-03R, aka a forum III. Let me know if I can help  :bgrin:

Only missed by 1,257,866. I was sure there were more to hear my wife speak of them.  :laughin:

What does an answer tell us?

  • You have one guitar (probably a Larrivée)
  • You have more than one guitar
  • You have a lot of guitars
  • You have several guitars and they are all Larrivée
  • Your tastes are broader than can be fulfilled by the Larrivée brand alone

You have had (at some point) more money than brains? I only speak for myself though.    :whistling:

Martin 000-28EC (EIR/Sitka)

I am trying to remedy this ... keep trying to lower the number to a manageable (playable) number...  :whistling:

I mostly prefer to get under $500 ones. Here, you can see the best electronic guitar brands ( https://bestazy.com/best-electric-guitars-under-five-hundred/ ). Yamaha is my damn favourite.

Sold my Larrivee C-10 today to someone in Colorado...

Anyone else selling or buying acoustics as the new year begins?

Trying to sell a few but don't want to give them away.

I hear ya! But that's tough with Larrivees - I got a decent (but not over the top great) price for my C-10. I'm satisfied with it.

It's really better to be on the buying rather than selling end with used Larrivees...  :winkin:

I guess the poignant question is - why did the balance change?

My view of the horizon has changed.  Instead of living for today, I'm looking much farther ahead. I no longer harbor delusions about the guitars as investments. Music and playing are more important now than they have ever been.

I have fewer instruments without the near-duplicates and the bragging-rights trophies.

9. Need to add the 3/4 size Yamaha I just bought to my signature line

2012 Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue

My Sound Cloud

Well, after selling my J-45, today I found a nice J-35 on Reverb - it will arrive Friday...so now I have the Gibson brand back in the fold...  :rolleye: (I'm hopeless!)

Retirement left me either poorer or smarter?

both at the same time is a blessing I think.
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...
