Decided to let me build an acoustic, not a Larrivée for now. I should get her by the end of the year. The builder is Olav Loef. The guitar  a 00 model. Rowan and maple back and sides, Swiss sitka spruce top. Anyone familiair with the builder?

I can't believe no one knows Olav Loef or hasn't something to say about his guitars. I could post some links  but a little search on Google will let you hear the sound. Oké, it's not a Larrivée but take a look and let me know your opinions....

WOW. With the cost of things in Finland, and the quality of the custom guitars, I am sure that I couldn't afford one. Post some pics so that we can drool.

Thanks, Olav Loef is a magnificient builder and a wonderful person. He builds 30 guitars a year, all by order. I've choosen for a 00 size guitar, all non tropical woods. Any custom Larrivée/ Martin/etc would be in the same pricerange here in Europe. After all, they learned it from the European builders too. We are lucky here in Europe to have a lot of knowledge when it comes to build a musical instrument.
