I was very lucky in the 80's to be good friends with Tom Hobson. A finger picker who would transport you back to another time. One person said listening to Tom was like finding an old music box in your Grand Ma's attic and opening it. I recorded a chunk of his songs when he was living with me. The quality of sound is a testament to his playing and voice as it was recorded, as he always did, one take into a little 4 track cassette machine with a couple of 58's. (along with his pick up on a track) The thumb and syncopation on this song are just righteous. If you're into old fingerpicking you need to check this out. Some may know Tom from his work on Jorma's Quah album. They were good friends since early 60's. Jorma told me Tom was a big influence on him.    https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=7550492
