I will be receiving a brand new OOO-40R late next week. I am very excited.

Nothing better than receiving a Larrivee, except receiving Another One!  Congrats!

broKen and George,

Thanks guys...I never should have been in the position to buy another OOO-40R. I stupidly sold my first one. I judt hope this one is as good as the first one was. It's a great feeling. Pictures to follow.

Did you know/feel you had made a mistake right away when you sold those guitars?  I did. My OOO-40s were, without a doubt, the best sounding and most comfortable guitars I ever owned or played. I knew before I finalized the sales that I was making a grave error. Thank goodness Jean made more!

The eagle has landed. I am once again the proud owner of a OOO-40R. She's in the back seat of my car as I write this. I am in the front seat. The A/C is on. I will post some photos later.

Oh yeah,I knew it then and I really know it now
After trying out many guitars that do not have the
Larrivee specialness
I am a larrivee player

As promised...a little belated...here is my new OOO-40R:

I never fail to be amazed at how well Larrivees are setup right from the mother ship.

It feels real good to be back in the family.

Alright guys, what is the next Larrivee I should add?

Beautiful guitar!

As far as your next Larrivee is concerned, go for an L or LV. Unless you like the smaller guitars. An OO-40 Mahogany with Alpine or Sitka would make a great companion to the OOO-40R.

Mark,

Thank you sir. I love everything about this guitar. In fact, I have yet to find a Larrivee that I was not impressed with. Great family, great guitars!

You have read my mind. I am seriously thinking about a L body. If you're a Larrivee fan you probably should have a L in your house. I also like the 00 body but in the traditional Larrivee bracing pattern, so probably an -03.

Thanks again!
