I am sure it is. I think the L5 may be the sweet spot. This is why I am interested to see what you thoughts are after you get a chance to play it a bit.

Great guitar.  Love the top finish.  It will open up, and I think you will find the walnut to be very articulate and slightly warm.  I doubt it will ever sound like the L5...

If the guitar has not been played it may open up a bit the next little while. My wife has this D-04r guitar and it sounds and looks beautiful, just like her.
