thanks for checking this out...i have never owned a Larrivee but have played a good number of them and LOVE the small body or parlor size guitars.  I did recently see that Ed Sheeran played one on a Grammy Salute to Elton John.  He's been pretty much a Martin guy so cool to see.

A little ot, but since it is maplebaby’s thread .... I was just at Yarnell Place, and I saw some Romanian flamed maple.  All I can say is wow, wow, wow.  White as snow with perfect flaming.  I can honestly say it is the nicest flamed maple wood I have ever seen.  Saw one guitar made from it with moonwood top.  If my guitar closet wasn’t full,I woulda bought it.  Jean says he took one guitar made of it to NAMM and it sold in the first ten minutes.

Addendum.... could not resist .  Just told Jean to pick out a good b/s set and moonwood top for an OM.
