Forgive me if I posted these pics before -i'm getting forgetful,
however the micro-dot poll got me thinking of the early inlays Jean used to do.
This guitar was ordered in 1972, it's the twin to the one I ordered the same time.
Back then Jean was building 2 at a time, delivery was 6-8 weeks, (after you gave him 50% deposit ($300).
My guitar, identical to this one is in Toronto ON.

This one, still belongs to a good friend who lives in Kingston ON.
the inlays seen here were standard at the time, which have evolved from the 1971 I have.

I believe they became the "torch" inlays? dunno.
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

Nice. Looks almost exactly like mine. Same head stock. Same inlays. Same label. Similar signature. Different date.  :cheers

Love these old Larrivees...

Thanks for sharing!

Yes. And they evolved over time. Mine is a little more abstract, fragmented. It took me a while to realize what it was.
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.

Gorgeous guitars guys!
