I would have said an L-01 if they still made them. I had one that my son in law has now and it is fantastic.   

I've always wanted to try an L-02 with the rosewood headstock cap, fingerboard and bridge (which were only made for a brief time - then the rosewood changed to ebony). I think they look gorgeous, and probably have a unique sound that is still in that balanced "L" family of tone...

Also think this maple bodied LV sounds amazing - so much so that I would probably risk ordering one w/o being able to hear it first...
