I seem to be noticing that a lot of lesser artists are now playing the Indian casinos.  What gets me is they all seem to be referred to as "legendary."  Seems to me this is one of the most overused, and under deserved, descriptions.

Mostley in there own minds. :roll

The casinos have become regular stops for all the tour buses with the old folks on 'em - and more and more of those old folks are aging Boomers, who grew up on that music. Is there a connection? Dunno...maybe.

Like the gambler who comes out a winner, we're all getting a little legendary.

Always seemed to me that "legendary" in the casino circuit was code for "has-been"

Better a has been than a never was. There's not much of pension fund in the music biz. I wish I was a one hit wonder!

Maybe  a has-been but still kickin it as a musician. At 62 I'm still making about 25% of my living playing and running F.O.H. for a band.Maybe I'm a legend in my own mind. :nana_guitar

Yes, I probably should have elaborated....nothing wrong with that or the casino circuit.  Music is music, and the chance to keep performing is a good thing. Record sales certainly don't pay the bills any more!
