Super-Wood possibly your next all-wood travel guitar  :?

Steel might not be the best material. How about super-ish wood that's more like .... wood?   :smile:

I wonder how that would sound?  Would it be tough enough to double as bullet-resistant, just in case you were gigging in a tough part of town?   :humour:

I think there's a song there. Playing in the tough part of town. I brought my steel guitar case they try to shoot me down.     

I was going to suggest that a guitar made from this "super wood" have stainless steel frets, but maybe super wood frets would be adequate...

Super wood is very heavy and dense.  No bueno for guitar
