  +1  I still enjoy playing his song FOR MY LADY. He had not toured with the band for many years. I suspected it was ill health.

Evidently he'd been diagnosed with some kind of cancer around 2001/2, and quit touring then...? It was that cancer that finally took his life this week.

Danny, thanks for keeping me/us updated on the Moody Blues. I've seen them or Justin solo 4x, and I still listen to something of theirs at least once a week. And now, as members pass, I start to feel a melancholy as I remember all those places I've been with The Moodys...rockin' a great message all of these years.
