Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

I hope we all have a happy news year,,,,and judging from the past there's a slim chance of it. Remember this, "a thankful heart is a happy heart".

Ain't that the truth!  Happy New Year to you, too.

Best wishes to all for the coming new year.

I started the new year on stage. In a moment of whimsy, someone started playing Auld Lang Syne (a sort of Jimi version) in E♭. That was fine - I guess he was tuned down a semitone.

Yesterday was a musical open house where I heard some of the finest playing and singing I never get to hear. I played some originals and some of my favourites from all over time and place. This audience was there to listen. No need for crowd pleasers, it was dealers' choice.

Between sets, we traded stories of guitars bought and sold and ones that got away.

My wish for you...

May you do what you want in the company you choose.

Best Wishes to all the forummembers and their families. Good health for everyone and lot of good times with our guitars
