For sale is my beautiful 2010 Larrivee SD-50 12-fretter.

Features blonde Honduran mahogany back and sides, which are quite unique. Other highlights:

•   Great build quality, weighing only 4 lbs 2 oz (featherweight for a 12-fret dread)
•   1 7/8" nut makes it a dream for fingerstyle
•   Large sound hole

To my ears this instrument has great clarity and articulation across the spectrum. Great volume without the boominess that dreads are often accused of.

Versatile - great for finger style and flatpicking alike.

Near mint, comes with OHSC archtop case.

Apparently Larrivee took special pride in this instrument as it was featured at the 2010 NAMM show.  The backstory is here, from the previous owner:  http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=50808.0

I hate to part with such a nice instrument but the 1 7/8th inch nut make it just a bit wide for me.

$1750 plus shipping to CONUS.

Thanks Scott, No reply from Jess and I made him an offer.  I found the picks, looks nice.  I didn't know what "blonde" mahogany is.
